So Frustrating Now

This app used to be awesome. It wasnt super pretty, but the features were all I needed and it worked great with very few exceptions.
Now with the "facelift" my shopping list and pantry arent communicating anymore. Every week before my grocery run, I try to add something to my shopping list, like bread. Something that Ive been adding to my list and has been in my "pantry" forever, and the list wont recognize it. It gives me the option to add it for one time, but it has no category, and just adds it to the bottom of the list, so Im wandering all over the store because I missed picking up bread when I was in the bread aisle. When I go back to my pantry, the item is there, but from there I cant add it to my shopping list. It does not do this with every item, just a handful of items each time I use the app.
Ive about had it.
The only thing keeping me from just getting a different app is that 1) I spent good money on it when I purchased it a few years ago, and 2) it takes so dad-gum long to build up your recipes, shopping list, and pantry. Very frustrating.
