Just updated it and now it wont open. Why?

Love it! I have been using this app for YEARS. I have over a thousand entries. I was delighted to sync to my iPhone. I just noticed it will sync to my watch! Well worth the money. Too many great features to list! Dont believe the bad reviews. Make sure you back up your app occasionally. I love to cook. Im a mother of 5. Im constantly inventing new recipes. I jot them down in the app. If I like it it stays if not I delete it. Super simple interface. I never leave reviews but this app is that great.

Finally! And thank you!! The app now remembers the screen you were on when you exited. Man, it was annoying that it didnt before. And now, it is a TRUE meal PLANNER app - you can add recipes to your meal plan calendar directly from the recipe file. Why did this take so long I dont know, but Im finally happy! Really easy to import recipes from any website, so this is a great way to keep track of those great recipes you find online.

If doesnt work. Save yourself time and money

I have used this app for a long time & it has always saved me time with meal plans & shopping lists. But the newest version is awful! I have wasted more time trying to find my shopping list items or create my meal lists because the new version is the least user friendly Ive ever seen! It also is very slow & sometimes non-responsive to your touch clicks now, which was never an issue before. Unless you want a headache, dont buy this app! I will be looking for a new one.

I would give this app zero stars if I could. It was great until the upgrade. Now I have lost all my family recipes thanks to a bug that changed all the measurements. Even now, when I add a recipe, after I type in the amounts for each ingredient and I save the recipe, for some strange reason, the saved version looks nothing like what I entered. Horrible. Do NOT use.

Ive been a long time user of this app, but they recently did an overhaul on everything. Now simple functions take me multiple steps and the app is not as intuitive. Im having an impossible time making the transition. I have invested a lot of my time importing my recipes and shopping lists into this app and Im sad that it has become so complicated. I feel all my time has been wasted. Hoping they are able to streamline things very soon or Ill be deleting.

Please fix the upgrade! I loved this app but now it is not user friendly. Some nutritional info missing. Hard to use. Put it back the way it was!!!!

I have used this app for years and shared it with many friends because it was so user friendly and quick to use. I could quickly plan my weekly meals and my grocery list without many steps. The new upgrade is terrible. I am having to take several steps in order to do basic functions that were one step before. And the steps arent intuitive... Please revert back to the old version. I will no longer recommend this app to anyone and may discontinue using it myself if I dont find it to be more helpful as I adjust to the new version. Disappointed.

You had better not change your e-mail address because you can never change that in the system. You cant ever delete a profile after you create one. So if you make a profile called "test" while you test out the functionality you will always have this profile... forever.

The recent rewrite of this app is terrible. I have used the previous version, loved it, and told others about it. Today I am searching for a different program because I am having difficulty figuring how to use it. I would not recommend it to anyone.

I used the old version of this app all the time and loved it. I cant use this version as I did the other version and I miss it.

It takes two touches to do what used to be done in one, no longer intuitive. Very hard to use. I wish I never did the update.

This app was updated in the past month and my title says it all. Developer tried to add new features but all it did was make the app to complex to be user friendly. Some good features have been removed. Old version had a simple way of pantry tracking so that I could add "favorites not in my pantry" to my shopping list. Now pantry tracking much too complex. And each week since the update inhale missed purchasing essential items because they didnt make it to my list. I am very sad because I have spent countless hours building my personal database and now I have to find a new app. I have spent too much time being frustrated with the new version

Ive been using this app every day for years and loved it until this recent update. Not as easy to look up recipes anymore and it keeps getting stuck and crashing. Wish there was a way to downgrade back to the old version.

This new update is certainly different from the older version and is hard to compare the apple to oranges. If your a user from before it may take some adjusting to the new layout and features, but I think the app is great. I love the color coding and the printing features. And the overall ability to sort and view the recipes that I need is really helpful. Ive been using this planner for years and it was definitely in need of a facelift.

I was excited that the pantry tracking was being updated to adjust quantities from a recipe! I have been waiting for that update for a VERY LONG time; however, Im disappointed that the addition of the updated pantry tracking has reduced the functionality of the rest of the app. There is no longer a way to select an ingredient and see all the recipes that ingredient is in. I used this function all the time trying to determine what to make with the ingredients I have. Please bring this function back. Its also not as easy to add things to the shopping list, and some items cannot be found in a search, which is incredibly frustrating. The menu is also hidden, which is more frustrating than it is visually appealing. There is a better combination of the old version and the new version of this app, this just is not it!

This app used to be great until they updated it...now I cant even use it!! Every time I go to click on a recipe, the entire app shuts down!! Thanks for nothing...

All of my recipes got screwed up once the app updated. For example, the app says I entered into a chili recipe ".08 ounces beef broth, .03 ounces coffee, .2 kidney beans." The originally entered values were 14oz. can of beef broth, 1 cup coffee, 3 cans of kidney beans, etc. All the work I put into loading the recipes in was a waste since all the amounts are wrong. Thanks!

Cannot stand the upgrade. I second everything in the other reviews.
